I felt the knot tightening in my stomach as I walked down the hall to lead another morning meeting with my team.
It should have felt good to lead a super talented team turn around a struggling nursing home, and in the beginning, it did.
But not anymore.
Something wasn't right. This just wasn't a good fit for me anymore.
Apparently, there was something about a new challenge in unchartered waters that made things exciting for me. Now that the building had stabilized, it just wasn't doing it for me anymore.
